Yes this is a niche PS1 emulator, there are other better ones out there. ![]() I don't have much experience with compiling in linux or the make systems, so I just kinda swarmed by trying to make this compile (and the other newer repo) The funny thing is that the other package pcsxr which acknowledges that other repo, doesn't use any of the fresh code, and it just downloads a 2015 tag. So a repository exists with newer code (and possibly improvements, fixes?) to the one that pcsxr-git gets. (Note that pcsxr-git gets code dating 2017) Which seems to have been active up to 2020. I checked and indeed, FFMPEG seems to have deprecated that field : Looking into the other AUR package pcsxr, that one compiles fine However checking its PKGBUILD I discovered that it gets code from another repo? a fork of a fork of the original, this one ( ) Pcsxr-git/src/pcsxr/pcsxr/libpcsxcore/cdriso.c:287:45: error: 'AVStream' has no member named 'codec' There is an error in a file that complains about: Mesa ( mesa-panfork-git AUR, mesa-nightly-nvk-rusticl-intelrt-git AUR, mesa-rusticl-git AUR, mesa-git AUR, mesa-minimal-git AUR, amdonly-gaming-mesa AUR, mesa-enable-h264 AUR, mesa-amber) (make) Git ( git-vfs AUR, git-run-command-patch-git AUR, git-git AUR, git-fc AUR) (make) Zlib ( zlib-ng-compat-git AUR, zlib-git AUR, zlib-ng-compat AUR) Libpulse ( pulseaudio-dummy AUR, pulseaudio-git AUR) ( nvidia-340xx-utils AUR, amdgpu-pro-oglp AUR, libglvnd) ![]() Gtk3 ( gtk3-ubuntu AUR, gtk3-no_deadkeys_underline AUR, gtk3-patched-filechooser-icon-view AUR, gtk3-classic AUR, gtk3-classic-xfce AUR, gtk3-demos-git AUR, gtk3-docs-git AUR) Glibc ( glibc-git AUR, glibc-linux4 AUR, glibc-widevine AUR) Glib2 ( glib2-git AUR, glib2-patched-thumbnailer AUR, glib2-selinux AUR) Ffmpeg ( ffmpeg-intel-full-git AUR, ffmpeg-v4l2-request-git AUR, ffmpeg-nvcodec-11-1-git AUR, ffmpeg-git AUR, ffmpeg-libfdk_aac AUR, ffmpeg-threading-git AUR, ffmpeg-headless AUR, ffmpeg-amd-full-git AUR, ffmpeg-nonvidia AUR, ffmpeg-cuda AUR, ffmpeg-full AUR, ffmpeg-decklink AUR, ffmpeg-amd-full AUR, ffmpeg-full-git AUR, ffmpeg-obs AUR, ffmpeg-nocuda AUR)
